Also the versions of Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam will be having much screens for this venture. This kind of Huge release for a Telugu infect Indian film in USA is so big and grand to rule out for.

Starring Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamanna in the lead Characters movie is getting ready for grand release on July 10th.

Bahubali, India's Most Expensive Movie Ever

India's most expensive film ever, Bahubali, has been described as India's version of Troy, 300 or Hercules, but makers of the $40 million warrior epic insist the movie's heart is all Indian.

Bahubali features superstars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah. The first installment of the two-part epic hits the screens in India on July 10, and the industry will closely watch its performance. Previously, 2011 release Ra.One, co-produced by and starring actor Shah Rukh Khan, was considered India's most expensive film, with an estimated budget of about $27.4 million.

The movie is directed by S.S. Rajamouli, who helmed the blockbusters Magadheera and Eega. The film's creators say that any similarities to Hollywood movie 300  are purely coincidental.

"The idea is to go for an international audience, outside the Indian diaspora. It is always nice to see your movie do well outside your comfort zone, for as many people as possible to see it," producer Shobu Yarlagadda tells THR. He's enlisted big names at events like the Cannes Film Festival to encourage this result, such as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, a former shooter who took a silver medal at the Olympics in 2004.

Bahubali translates as "The One With Strong Arms," and it tells of two warring brothers battling for control of an ancient Indian kingdom.

"The appeal is not just because of the big-budget battle scenes, it's because the emotions are very basic and hard-hitting, so it will appeal to everyone," says Rajamouli.

Bahubali will be released in the Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages and was shot in Ramoji studios in Hyderabad. The two-part Bahubali, costing still a fraction of the budgets of Hollywood blockbusters, was made in the Telugu and Tamil languages for the Tollywood and Kollywood markets. But producers have been aggressively marketing the movie as one that will work in other language markets within India as well.

Southern India’s film industries are not as well known as their northern counterparts and are often overshadowed by the country’s much-better-known Hindi-language Bollywood films. But Bahubali is breaking the mold. Telugu and Hindi trailers crossed 1 million views each within 24 hours, and on Facebook the trailer surpassed 1.5 million views, 300,000 likes and 200,000 shares in 24 hours.

Shobu says the original plan was to launch the trailer in front of 30,000 fans in a sports stadium in Hyderabad, but the sheer scale of demand meant the police ordered the event closed.

"We wanted to give a large-screen experience to our fans and so we had a special free half-hour screening between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m on June 1 across 300 screens in the two Telugu-speaking states in India.  Fans turned up in large numbers to watch the trailer, and most of the shows across the 300 screens were full. In fact the theaters had to turn away many fans as they were full," says Shobu.

Indian cinema produces films in 39 languages and dialects. Last year, 216 Hindi or Bollywood movies were released, fewer than the 287 in Tamil and 255 Telugu. Bollywood — centered around the western city of Mumbai — is India’s biggest-grossing movie industry, accounting for $565 million in box-office revenue in 2013. But Tollywood and Kollywood were not far behind, bringing in a total of $468 million combined.

Baahubali Story:

It is shocking to know that Baahubali story is being circulated online. Though we are not sure how far the story is true, we would want to remind you that the leaked stories we have reported earlier for Temper, Son Of Satyamurthy and many more have come out to be true.

So, this might be a spoiler. It is understood that Baahubali is about the epic creation more than the story and Rajamouli's visionary is one of its main attractions, so here we give you a gist of Baahubali story that is going viral.

King of Mahishmati, Amarendra Baahubali (Prabhas) and his wife Devasena (Anushka) ruled the kingdom, where people were montblanc replica watches living at peace and prosperity, until the cruel minister (Nasser) pair up with an evil king, Bhallaladeva, brother of Baahubali and captures the kingdom by killing the king in a great war.

Since the kingdom now belongs to Bhallaladeva, he officially establishes a huge statue of his within the kingdom and made the people his slaves. He also tries to kill the son of the king but baby Baahubali is protected by his mother (Anushka), who carries the baby and travels across the ocean. The evil army captures Devasena and puts her in prison for years but they wouldn't be able to find the baby Baahubali.

The baby Baahubali is taken care by the villagers of an island and name him as Shivudu. Baby grows to become Prabhas. The island where he grew is a beautiful village and one day Avanthika (Tamannaah), daughter of Bhallaladeva, visits the island and the duo falls in love.

He decides to fight the evil army to help the people of his father's kingdom and win his love interest Avanthika. He uses his tribal army to attack the kingdom and take over it which is now ruled by Old Bhallaladeva.

The rest is how Shivudu makes free Mahishmathi kingdom from Bhallaladeva and finds her mother Devasena. But then the flashback parts and the great war will not be shown in the Omega Replica Ladymatic part one and the entire part would only be about how Shivudu finds out his past and about his parents.

Baahubali: A tribute to epic Mahabharat

Filmmaker S S Rajamouli, whose highly anticipated magnum opus "Baahubali" - which he calls his tribute to Indian epic Mahabharat - releases in cinemas on Friday, says the creative success of his film is more important than its box office prospects. “I’m usually not motivated by money. When my films succeed creatively, that’s my biggest achievement.

The creative satisfaction I get from my films matters to me the most than box office numbers,” says Rajamouli. Although he admits film economics is important, he says that’s not what drives him to make films.“Baahubali”, which is touted as one of India’s most expensive films at Rs 250 crore (nearly $40 million), is Rajamouli’s “tribute to Indian epic Mahabharat.”

“One of the biggest inspirations behind ‘Baahubali’ is ‘Mahabharat’. The epic war drama between the Pandavas and Kauravas has always fascinated me,” he said, adding that the Amar Chitra Katha comics too helped him envision the world of “Baahubali”. The film, originally made in Telugu and Tamil, will alsorelease in Hindi and Malayalam in dubbed versions.

Asked why he chose to release the film in multiple languages, he said: “Given the budget of the film, it’s impossible to recover the cost involved if we release in one language. Right from the start, the plan was to make it as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Hence, we cast actors who are popular in both the industries.

“Following the success of ‘Eega’ (‘Makkhi’ in Hindi), we had planned to release ‘Baahubali’ in Hindi as well.” When the team was looking for someone to release the film in the northern belt, filmmaker Karan Johar came on board. The film is all set to release in a record number of 4,000 screens worldwide. It took the team nearly three years to complete the first part of the film. With another 120 days of shoot left on the second part, it’s expected to hit the screens next year.

Rajamouli says it wasn’t easy to stay motivated throughout. “We struggled towards the end, especially to complete the last 20 percent of the film, as most actors by then had almost given up having shot for over a year. But I always believe the team draws its motivation from the director, so I had to push myself and others without losing my cool,” he said.

Despite the long wait, the buzz around “Baahubali” was always alive. It’s perhaps the best marketed south Indian film ever. “A lot of planning went into all this. Over the last one year, we’ve been very active on social media platforms. We needed to create the buzz, make audiences – irrespective of the region – curious about our film. And the only way to do it was through marketing,” he said. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan too has heaped praise on Rajamouli’s creation and even wished to be part of it.

Asked if he plans to rope in Big B in the second part of the movie, he said: “I’d love to work with all the stars, provided I have a suitable script for them. I can’t approach them just because I want to work with them. For ‘Baahubali’, I had decided long back that Prabhas was my hero. I let my script choose my actor and not vice versa.

“It was nice of Bachchan sir to say lovely things about our film.”The film is about the story of two warring brothers for an ancient kingdom. It features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia in the lead roles.

100 Shows in Bhimavaram, 700 Shows in Hyderabad

Bhimavaram

In a town where majority of population belongs to the caste of Varma/Rajus, automatically there will be lavish spending on a film ticket where in hero belongs to their caste. An unprecedented phenomenon is witnessed in the royal town of Bhimavaram in West Godavari district with the spectacular release of ‘Bahubali’ on July 10th.

Although, there are no benefit show reports from this Kapu and Raju dominated town, we are informed by our close sources that as good as 100 shows will be screened in Bhimavaram on day one. As if these many numbers of shows are insufficient, there is huge lobbying for tickets and special black ticket prices lying in market are varying from Rs.2000 to Rs.5000. Some say that, official ticket prices are kept at Rs.500 in some theaters.

Off the record, where will ‘Bahubali’ land in first day and first week records of Tollywood if the same craze continues throughout? Well, that’s the craze of a Telugu film. Feel proud that ‘Bahubali’ is a Telugu film from our own Telugu director.

Hyderabad

A special focus will be kept on Nizam business for any movie because of this area’s huge expanse and extreme commercial productivity. Nizam covers entire Telangana State and when ‘Bahubali’ is arriving in nearly 400 locations just in Nizam territory, obviously top most records are to bit the dust.  Generally, Nizam is considered as strong fort for Mega heroes with all top records written on their name.

Arrival of ‘Bahubali’ is creating tremors in Telangana state because almost all the theaters in Hyderabad including multiplexes are going to be occupied with the magnum opus of SS Rajamouli. The film will be screened to record number of shows in multiplexes and there is still a big demand for tickets. As per reports, there will be as good as 700 shows of ‘Bahubali’ in Hyderabad alone on day one.

This could accumulate to a total Nizam gross of nearly Rs.4 Crores and if benefit shows or special shows on July 9th are also added to the tally, collections may rise as high as Rs.5 Crores. That’s the euphoria surrounding this film.

Baahubali Pre Release Business Report

According to trade sources, below is the pre release closing business of ‘Bahubali’ when it is taken domestic wise. As the film is growing big with each day, many records are ought to be broken in no time. Before making it to top of South Indian Box Office, let us look into the following theatrical and satellite rights of each of the language of ‘Bahubali.’

Bahubali Theatrical Rights (All Languages) – Rs.125 Crores

Bahubali Telugu Satellite Rights – Rs.14 Crores

Bahubali Tamil Satellite Rights – Rs. 10 Crores

Bahubali Hindi Satellite Rights – Rs.11Crores

Bahubali Malayalam Satellite Rights – Rs. 1 Crore

Bahubali Audio Rights – Rs. 1 Crores

Total – Rs. 162 Crores

Although these are not the accurate figures, ‘Bahubali’ has broken many pre release records of South cinema industry. Let us wait for few more days to hear such news coming in abundance. Congratulations to Prabhas, Rajamouli and Shobhu Yarlagadda.

Baahubali's first day collection estimate

Rajamouli's visual extravaganza Baahubali is just three days away from hitting the marquee. Trade circles are bringing their calculators out to estimate the gross and share of this epic movie. People are betting big on Baahubali collecting over sixty crores share (only in Telugu) in its first week. What could be Baahubali's first day collection estimate?

As per Trade pundits, Baahubali is likely to collect around fifteen crores share from Telugu states on its first day. Benefit shows share itself would be historical predict trade circles. If Baahubali collects anything close to 15 crore share in Telugu states then overall tally on the first day would easily surpass 20 crore mark as the movie is estimated to collect anywhere between $800K to $1M from US alone.

Karnataka share is also going to be humongous with the exhibitors doubling the ticket price in many theaters depending upon the high demand. The film is going to take never before opening in Telugu for sure. It would be interesting to see how the Hindi and Tamil audience respond to it. Can Baahubali be the first Telugu movie to break records in Tamilnadu and North India?
