Tamil Super Star RajniKanth is on his way to become a grand father. Yes, his daughter Saundarya Ashwin is expecting a baby and a baby shower was recently organised for the mom-to-be.

However, in true Rajini style, the programme was a simple affair and was held at Poes Garden of Rayapet. Only close relatives and friends were invited for the baby shower.
Rajini's affection for her daughter is well-known. She is the only star daughter who directed her father in the Tamil film industry.She directed Rajini-starrer Kochadiyan 3D.

Soundarya was married to businessman Ashwin in 2010.
