Megastar Chiranjeevi lent his support to Salman Khan. He gave his heartfelt wishes for Salman Khan who was sentenced to jail for five years in Hit and Run Case today.

When questioned on how he would react on this issue, he said “This is indeed very sad. This is a mere accident not an intentional attack. Am sure court would take that into account. It is sad that my colleague and friend Salman had to face such a situation. But am sure we can challenge the verdict in higher courts. The movies Salman is committed to will be completed when he comes on bail”.

It may be recalled here that all the charges on Salman Khan were proved and Salman Khan broke into tears when he heard the verdict.
