Director Cum Producer YVS Chowdary had a very bitter past with Nandamuri fans. They hate him to the core for delivering a biggest disaster for Balakrishna in the form of Okka Magadu. Leaving aside the failure, he dumped several Nandamuri fans by urging them to buy the film in several areas and finally they came on to roads with the movie's bitter failure.

YVS Chowdary later shifted his focus on to Mega camp and directed and produced Sai Dharam Tej's debut movie, Rey. The movie is yet to release even after the release of Sai Dharam Tej's second movie, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham. After all the attempts failed to release the movie, YVS Chowdary seem to be emotionally blackmailing Nandamuri fans to buy the movie in the name of Legend NTR. "NTR is a god to me. In the early days of my marriage, my wife had an abortion. I came to NTR's Samadhi and prayed to him.

I got a beautiful female child very soon. Now I am praying NTR once again for the release of Rey", YVS Chowdary said to media at NTR Ghat on Sunday, the 19th Vardhanthi of the Legendary Actor. Many see this as a plan of YVS to urge Nandamuri fans to help in the release of Rey to prove 'God NTR' made it happen.
