"Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart has slammed Hollywood, saying "crazy" sexismn is ingrained in the film industry.

Stewart, 25, said women in Hollywood have to work harder than their male counterparts to prove themselves, reported Female First.

"Women inevitably have to work a little bit harder to be heard. Hollywood is disgustingly sexist. It's crazy. It's so offensive it's crazy," she said.

Stewart, who is one of the most popular young actors, also does not understand why anyone would want to be famous.

"Fame is the worst thing in the world. Especially if it's pointless. When people say, 'I want to be famous' Why? You don't do anything'."
