Remember the film Pilavani Perantam? The film initially had Manchu Lakshmi and Dhanraj playing the lead roles and it was launched towards the end of last year but the makers are yet to commence its shoot. It is now reliably learnt that Manchu Lakshmi's disinterest to team up with Dhanraj was the main reason for the delay in the shooting.

However, the makers immediately replaced Dhanraj and failed to find a right replacement for the lanky comedy star. Soon, even Manchu Lakshmi expressed her unavailability to act in the film and the makers have now roped in Poorna, the actress with huge fan base for her horror thrillers like Avunu and the recent Avunu 2.

It is also learnt that Poorna will be teaming up with Varun Sandesh, her co-star in the unsuccessful romantic entertainer Nuvvala Nenila. The shooting of the film will commence soon and Venkanna Babu, who earlier directed Jagan Nirdoshi, will be handling the direction.
