Salman Khan was found guilty in 2002 hit-and-run case, managed to get interim bail and the actor has been receiving support from many Bollywood celebs. We had reported sometime back that singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya had taken to Twitter to defend Salman Khan.

The singer has made shocking comment on the micro-blogging site Twitter, In his tweet, Abhijeet had written saying that Roads are meant for cars and dogs not for people sleeping on them.He opined that Salman has no mistake in the accident.

He had further urged celebs to come out in support of Khan by writing, "Come out fraternity, support @BeingSalmanKhan boldly not hypocriticly Roads footpath r not meant 4 sleeping, not driver's or alcohol's fault. Mumbai ke road Aur footpath pe sone ka shauk hai ?? Y not at your village no vehicles to kill u.. Support @BeingSalmanKhan (sic). Suicide is crime so is sleeping on footpath..80% homeles film ppl strugld achievd stardom but never slept on footpath @BeingSalmanKhan (sic).''

Abhijeet landed in trouble for his comments. The comments  has not gone down well with Sonakshi Sinha, who had made her acting debut opposite Salman in Dabangg.

Taking to Twitter, an irate Sonakshi wrote, ''Terrible news. Dnt knw wht to say except tht will stand by @BeingSalmanKhan no matter what. Hes a good man and no 1 can tk tht away frm him. I support my friend but i would never support such insensitive and negative talk. Please dont tag me in ur tweets @abhijeetsinger sir.''

Other side a Jaipur-based activist Suraj Soni submitted the written complaint to Jhotwara police station seeking FIR against the singer for his comments.
