‘Jazbaa’ director Sanjay Gupta seems to have decided to leave no stone unturned for his film and in this regard the filmmaker has spent a whopping sum of Rs 80 lakh to recreate Bombay High Court in Film City, Mumbai, for a crucial part of his film.
‘Jazbaa’ revolves around Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's character, a lawyer, who has to get a death row convict acquitted to rescue her kidnapped daughter. Though the maker, it is said, wanted to shoot in Bombay High Court itself, security reasons ensured that he goes for a set.
Gupta’s team took a lot of pictures of the interior and the exterior of the court before they began replicating it in Film City. The shooting at recreated Bombay High Court begins with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on June 19.
