Rana Daggubati is on a roll with two back-to-back epic films Rudhramadevi and Baahubali. The hunk hero is all praise for his role in Baahubali and expecting that it will be rated as one of India's greatest villains. 'I essay the role of an epic villain but not an epic hero. I'll be seen as Bhallaladeva and it's on par with Ravana role in Ramayana or Duryodhana character in Mahabharata. My role will be ranked as one of India's greatest villains of all time.'
On other hand, Rana admits that his role in Rudhramadevi is limited to a supporting role alongside lead actress Anushka who plays title role. 'I play prince Chalukya Veerabhadra who stands by Rudhramadevi (Anushka). Anushka's role is central character of the film and the whole film completely revolves around her. Veerabhadra is someone who believes in women power and is more than happy to stand beside the queen and support her.'
Meanwhile, Rana is returning to youthful romance as he'll be part of Tamil remake of Bangalore Days. 'After a long time, I'm wearing normal clothes for this film instead of an armour,' quipped Rana who will be stepping into the shoes of Fahad in the original. The blessing in disguise is that Rana is not part of the Telugu remake and the actor hasn't have any regrets on that. 'Stories find actors but not other way around,' concludes Rana.
