Nagarjuna has always played around with his characters and ever since he has turned producer, he has made sure that his films were different from the run-of-the-mill formula films.

Then, he made Manam which is a landmark in the history of Telugu cinema. But with its stupendous success came additional responsibility for Nagarjuna as people now expect him to make a film which is better than Manam.

While classic films happen only once in a while, he may not be able to match Manam any time soon. However, he continues to work towards trying different themes and playing with his roles.

It is now being said that his next release Soggade Chinni Nayana is one such effort. Apparently he will continue to do so from now.

It is known that Nag’s popularity has shot up ever since he started hosting Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. Now, the hot talk in tinsel ville is that Nag will be acting in a film which will have MEK as the background.

In fact, Slumdog Millionaire also runs with Kaun Banega Crorepati as the base for its story.

Of course, if he does such a film, it will mean a lot of publicity for the show and he will get to try a subject that he hasn’t done before. Well, as they say, two birds at one shot.
