Supreme Court has banned Aamir’s PK in India. This movie received positive response from the audiences. But the movie hurts the sentiments of major community.
Here are the Top 5 reasons, why PK has banned?
For hurting religious sentiments:
FIR has been filed against the film under sections 153A and 295A of the Indian Penal Code for hurting religious sentiments. Different sections of the society are blaming the makers of the film for being insensitive towards religion and portraying it in a wrong way.
Depicting Lord Shiva in a bad light:
The secretary of Hindu Legal Cell, Prashant Patel has now reportedly filed FIR against Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani. The dialogue ‘Jo darta hai wo hi mandir jaata hai’ has been specially mentioned in the FIR.
For promoting Love-Jihad?
Critics claim that PK film hurts their religious sentiments and Love-Jihad was promoted in this movie. Aamir Khan responded to this controversy and said “The message of this film is that the biggest thing is humanity. That’s the biggest message of this film… that we all are equal. There is no difference between Hindus and Muslims… that trust and faith are the important aspects of our life. This is the message”.

Aamir Khan went nude for the film’s first poster covering his modesty with a transistor. A case was filed against the makers under charges of obscenity. However, the Supreme Court dismissed the PIL saying “If you don’t like then don’t watch the film but don’t bring religious facets in it. These are matters of art and entertainment and let them remain so”.
For discrediting Hindu Gods and religions:
A case was filed on PK and seek ban on PK for disgracing Hindu Gods and religions. Even some people showed their anger on PK through social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
