With actor Rajendra Prasad being elected as the President of Movie Artistes Association, many artistes are overjoyed with the results. YSRCP MLA Roja expressed her happiness over the victory of the actor and said that the victory reflected the anger of the oppressed artistes who are not in favour of the previous committee.

Stating that the presidential post of MAA is a matter of prestige for the previous holders of the post, Roja said that nothing was done to lessen the suffering of artists and expressed confidence that Rajendra Prasad’s leadership would see the promises being translated into action.
