Siddharth’s tendency to shoot his mouth off and vent his feelings on Twitter seems to have landed him in trouble again.
After his latest film Jigarthanda’s release got postponed for the third time, the actor took to Twitter to accuse his producer Kathiresan for the delay.
He tweeted: ‘Sorry Jigarthanda fans; External unfair pressure is forcing our film to be postponed’;’Karthik, our whole team and I worked really hard for Jigarthanda. With no respect for us, without even discussing it with us...postponed’;
‘Whoever you are who aided in this dirty game, you can delay us you cannot stop us. A good film cannot be killed’.
Irked by Sid’s comments, the Tamil Film Producers Council stood up for Kathiresan, reprimanded the actor and declared that his comments were irresponsible.
They added that it was the producer who took the call on when a movie would release and that actors should refrain from going to the public if a difference of opinion arose.
