Seems like, Salman Khan's legal troubles willn't be ending any time soon. Vijay Galani, Producer of 2010 flick 'Veer', filed a defamation suit against the Star and sued him for a staggering Rs 250 crore.
In 1992, Salman Khan and Vijay Galani worked together for the film 'Suryavanshi'. For 'Veer', The actor approached Vijay Galani to produce the movie in the year 2008. Salman was paid signing amount of Rs 10 crore and come to an agreement that he would given Rs 15 crore more post the release. 3 Months post the Box Office failure, Salman asked Vijay Galani to give him the copy of the agreement. Upon receiving it. The actor approached Cine & TV Artistes Association complaining he wasn't happy with the agreement but the Film Body ruled in favour of the Producer.
Thereafter, Salman Khan moved Federation of Western India Cine Association and subsequently a order of non-cooperation against Vijay Galani was issued. In response, The producer approached Producers Guild headed by Mukesh Bhatt. Mr.Bhatt sent a letter to Western India Cine Association stating decision of non-cooperation was invalid.
Now, Vijay Galani has filed a defamation suit citing the actions of Salman Khan has damaged his reputation as a producer in the Industry.
