Southern actress Swathi popular as colors Swathi has given her nod to replace Anjali in the sequel of last year's superhit horror flick Geethanjali.

Producer MVV Satyanarayana and writer Kona Venkat are confident on bubbly actress Swathi to be a perfect replacement for Anjali, considering her talent and glamour along with recent hit track Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya, where she has paired opposite Nikhil.

Anjali is said to be out of the franchise because of demanding a high remuneration, however not clear. Original director Raj Kiran will wield the megaphone for Geethanjali part 2 and comedian turned hero Srinivas Reddy will continue his collaboration with the team.
