Lack of pre-release publicity has affected Balakrishna's yesterday release 'Lion' in a big way. Especially with none of the star cast coming forward to promote the flick, its domino effect could be seen on the movies release day collections. While 'Legend' made 6.9 crores collection, Lion did only 5.5 crores on day of its release.
As we said already, heroines of the film are getting blamed for not even making their presence felt in media to promote 'Lion'. Probably Chennai girl Trisha should have promoted the flick well but she showed empty hands. More than that, she tweeted about the release date of the flick a day before release (on May 13th) and here comes the shocker. Trisha has deleted that 'Lion' poster date retweet from her timeline after few Tamil media houses have given the rating of '1' for the flick.
Films may work or may not work at box office, but restraining all the ties from a movie that hasn't fared well is like killing the had that fed you when you're hungry. Will Trisha also return her remuneration now? What sort of ethics are these? Answer oh girl!!
