Uttama Villain: Distributors okay, Religionists not okay

13th April, 2015 10:17pm     Tollywood      Comments
Pulling his name into controversies always, universal hero Kamal Haasan never sees a super clean release with his movies. For upcoming “Uttama Villain” too, there are many troubles brewing in the path. Tamil producers council however figured out an amicable solution to ensure smooth release of film.

Till date many theatres owners are against Kamal’s movie because he has filed case against them in Competitive Commission Of India for opposing to his DTH idea of release Viswaroopam in theatres. Now that Kamal has almost agreed to withdraw this case, thanks to producers council intervention, Uttama Villain is cleared from all quarters for a staggering release on May 1st.

However, RSS and Muslim organisations are in support of banning the flick, citing that Lord Vishnu is badly portrayed by Kamal Haasan in the lyrics of Uttama Villain. Hardcore religionists are demanding the film screening to be stopped by government.
