Ye Maya Chesave, Naga Chaitanya's second film in the direction of Gautham Menon is still remembered as one of the finest romantic dramas in the last decade. The film was made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil and both the versions were runaway hits. While Naga Chaitanya paired up with Samantha, who made her debut with an unforgettable role as Jessie, Simbu romanced Trisha in the Tamil version.

Recently, Chay confirmed in an interview that he has been in talks with Gautham Menon. The latest we hear now is that the project has already been finalized and the film will go on floors in a couple of days. This yet to be titled film's Tamil version's shoot has been going on for the last couple of months and rumours say that the same story will be made in Telugu with Chay, just like Ye Maya Chesave.

In the Tamil version, Simbu is once again playing the lead and a new actress will be roped in to play the lead actress. On the other hand, the Telugu version's heroine is still not confirmed. The music will be composed by AR Rahman, who gave scintillating melodies in Ye Maya Chesave.
