After three-year and half year long gap, Kalyan Ram, the third generation Nandamuri scion, has made his grand comeback with his much-delayed movie OM 3D, which has soared up the curiosity and expectations to sky high. It is a routine revenge drama with interesting twists. But what makes it special is its well shot action scenes using 3D technology.

Minister Bhairreddy (Rao Ramesh) and Harshavardhan (Karthik) are two warring leaders in a town. As Harshavardhan exposes Bhairreddy in public and Bhairreddy ends up resigning minister post. Arjun (Kalyanram Nandamuri) is the son of Harshavardhan. He falls in love with Kriti Kharbandha. But things turn around when Bhavani (Sampath Raj) releases from prison and starts planning his revenge on Harshavardhan (Karthik)with the help of Bhairreddy. Very soon Arjun realizes that Bhavani is planning to kill his father. Will Bhavani kill Harshavardhan? Did Harshavardhan accept Arjun’s love? Will Riya (Nikesha Patel) marry Arjun? How Arjun will save his father and love forms rest of the story line.

Performances:

Kalyan Ram has made a grand comeback with Om 3D in which he is the showman. He has delivered excellent performance in the movie. He is at complete ease in all action, romantic and sentimental scene. His dialogue delivery is power-packed and sure to rock the viewers.

As heroine Anjali, Kriti Kharbandha makes a glamorous entry. Although she does not have enough scope for performance, she has used available space and given her best to suit her character. She emotes well in sentimental sequences and her chemistry with Kalyan Ram is also good to watch her on screen.

Nikesha Patel plays second heroine and she appears as Ahuti Prasad's daughter Riya in Om 3D. When compared to Kriti. She has even lesser scope, but she has delivered her best for the role. Her chemistry with Kalyan Ram is also good.

Rao Ramesh entertains you with his Srikakulam accent. Others like Ahuthi Prasad, Sithara, Suresh, Karthik and Raghu have delivered excellent performances, which are the biggest assets of the movie Om 3D.

Technical Departments:

The director has come up with a routine storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was a letdown.Ajayan Vincent's picturiation is another big strength of Om 3D. His cinematography makes the movie a visual treat. Other departments like editing, dialogues, costume, makeup and art direction are also commendable and add to the beauty of the movie.Achu Rajamani and Sai Karthik's music and background score are second big attraction in the technical front. All their compositions are melodious and background score elevates the intensity of several action and sentimental scenes.

Plus Points:
Kalyan Ram's Performance
Kriti
Good Story
The Twists
Few 3D Effects
Camera work

Minus Points:

Un realistic Visual Effects
Sloa Narration
Out and out action
Bad treatment and screenplay
Absence of comedy

Analysis:

Analysis: A complete out and out action film with great technical values. The movie is a non-linear narrative which may confuse the audience. But mentioning 'Present' and 'past' clearly made audience to  grasp the scenes very easily.  In the first half, Director established with a bit sentiment and then turned out into action suddenly. In the per-interval scene kalyan ram kills nikesha patel, from which the twist started and made everyone think all over those 10 mins of interval, 'why he killed her' ?

Where as in the Second half, the hero fights with everyone who ever deceived and provoked him to kill his dad. With few more twists revealing in the second half, the story created some jerks in the minds of audience.

Final Word: Overall, Om 3D is a unique attempt in Telugu film industry as Indian cinema. Although it deals with a cliched plot, the treatment of subject with advanced technology makes the movie very special. It is a treat for action lovers as well as family audience.
