Dohchay Audio: Unconventional Sweet & Eccentric Album

Dohchay Audio Review,Dohchay Audio,Naga Chaitanya

The success of a film - to an extent - depends on its music track. And in most cases, even if the film isn't remembered, its music becomes legendary and remains etched in people's memories for really long. No wonder filmmakers spend hours together in ensuring they have the perfect sound tracks in place for their films.

And the makers of 'Dohchay', it seems, decided to take a route not many have treaded upon and opted for the unconventional and surprisingly it works wonders! When we say unconventional, we want to imply that the album is totally a deviation from the regular numbers the Telugu audiences have become used to. Held at a five star hotel in Hyderabad last Friday, the audio launch of Naga Chaitanya and Kriti Sanon-starrer 'Dohchay' was a simple affair sans any pomp and show. Guests like SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, Karunakaran, Sukumar and Chandoo Mondeti made the high profile audience.

Here's a review of the sound track:

The first song of the album is the 'Nachite ye panaina' track. Looks like Arijit Singh is the toast of Telugu filmdom right now. After his voice made appearances in a couple of Tollywood flicks over the last year, he is back again. With some interesting lyrics, this is a subtle number that would be lovely to your ears. If paired with beautiful visuals, here's a winner.
Is any album complete without that quirky, fun dance number? Well, 'Dohchay' offers just that with 'Aanati devadaasu' which features Madhurima and Naga Chaitanya. This special song gets a thumbs up from us owing to its teasing lyrics and offbeat composition! What begins as a sad trumpet music slowly seeps into a jazzy number paired with some curious hose mixing. For those bored with the regular item numbers with too much of desi touch, here's something distinct.

The track 'Hayi hayi' really fills in some hayi in the ears. A pleasant number by Arijit again, here are a few moments of melodious high in the album.

But there's more of the singer in this album as he croons for 'He is Mr. Mosagaadu' - a fusion song that combines rock and modern jazz. Supported by fun lyrics, this track takes this album's peppiness to a level high!

Yet again, another track by Arijit Singh - 'Ranaa'. There's something emotional about this song with good lyrics.

'Villain' by Parthasarathy takes you into a different world with the cowboy style presentation.

The title track 'Dohchay' is nice with some loud beats that make you want to tap your feet.

Music director Sunny MR has offered something off-centre to the present trend but we love it!
