The widely spread death rumors of south Indian legendary artiste and veteran actress Manorama have now hung the journalism in shame as the actress has finally had to prove her status of alive. Unfortunately the social media and few media houses aired the news of her death in this morning without any official clarifications from her relatives but it later emerged completely false news.

However this is not for the first time of carrying the death news of the actress as previously in the last year’s June also, some media houses aired the false death news of her when she got admitted to a Chennai hospital with some chest pain. Manorama reportedly spoke to few Telugu media houses saying she is completely healthy and alive. She appealed the media not to spread the death news of her when she is alive.

The legendary actress is also called Aachi in Tamil cinema and she appeared more than 1,000 films and performed more than 1000 stage plays. She stands as the only second to the actress Sukumari in most number of films acted. At the age 71, the veteran actress got married and divorced in the sixties and has a son called Bhupati.
