Ajay Devgn has been good friends to both Rohit Shetty and Prabhu Dheva for ages and given that most of Rohit's films star him, there exists a special bond.
Now that Ajay is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Action Jackson, which is another action packed masala entertainer, comparisons were bound to arise. When asked about the difference in the approach of the two filmmakers, Ajay said both Rohit and Prabhu are different from each other. "I think both of them are different. They like to make action entertainers and comedy but their style of filmmaking is completely different. Prabhu is more stylish where as Rohit keeps it very real. Prabhu keeps his action very stylish", Ajay said.
The film is overloaded with some gruelling action sequences and stunts, which are usually a Rohit Shetty trademark. But Ajay has been doing action ever since his debut in the '90s. Ask him about the difference and he clearly explains his point. "That time, the action was a lot more difficult. Today, the action has become lot more easier because of the techniques and harnesses. I try and avoid using it but there are some sequences where I have to use them. I push myself to do stunts on my own without harness"
But not just action, the actor has also danced his heart out in the film. contrary to his other films, Action Jackson has Ajay dancing in full throttle. But the actor said there were no apprehensions about the dance. "Prabhu Dheva is one of the finest choreographers in our country and I completely trusted him. So I knew he would make me dance as per my potential. While dancing in 'Keeda', I myself don’t know what I did. I just blindly followed what Prabhu Dheva said", laughed the otherwise reticent actor.
