Ace director Selvaraghavan hasn't started his next film yet, after Irandam Ulagam late last year. There were reports that he would begin his next with Simbu and Trisha, but work on this project hasn't begun and the status of this film isn't clear yet. The director's fans are eager to see what Selva would come up with next.
 
At this juncture, Selva took to his Twitter space to update that a sequel to Aayirathil Oruvan was very much on his mind and that he would work on it next year.
 
My mind is always in A.O 2. I need a break right now but I will make it for sure next year. Let's hear the cholas  roar!
 
Aayirathil Oruvan was Karthi's second film and it released in the beginning of 2010. The film garnered extreme reactions, with a section of the audience totally loving the work and demanding a sequel, while others found it hard to comprehend the film. Anyway, it is a much noted film in recent Tamil cinema history and a sequel to it would definitely spawn great expectations. What is the cast going to be like?
