There were speculations that Akkineni Nagarjuna is going to come up with another satellite channel Manam, but the actor and entrepreneur quashed it as mere baseless rumors.

However, we hear that the channel is getting launched and the logo of the channel was also unveiled. However, it is sans Nag's interference. The channel is coming up from a group of like minded entrepreneurs having vast experience in media.

The channel will be launched on May 1st but initially the channel services will be launched in Hyderabad and Vijayawada. The channel has already gearing up with some josh-ful programmes to entertain the audiences. To know if Manam will be embraced by the audiences we need to wait and see for some months at least.
