Ram Charan's 9th flick tentatively titled 'My Name is Raju' is making news for all the good reasons even before the release.
Zee Telugu has acquired the Satellite Rights of Ram Charan-Srinu Vytla's entertainer for a whooping Rs 13 crore. Sources say, The entertainment channel even bagged the Hindi dubbing rights apart from Satellite Rights for this price.
Post celebrating 10th Anniversary, Zee Telugu which used to settle down with small-budgeted films all these years has been competing to bag satellite rights of star-studded projects. MAA TV and c have now a competitor.
'My Name is Raju' is scheduled to release on October 15th as Dussehra Dhamakha. Ram Charan plays a stuntman. Rakul Preet Singh is paired opposite Charan for the first time. Kriti Kharbanda does the role of Cherry's sister. SS Thaman is the composer. DVV Danayya is producing this prestigious film on a grand scale.
