Gopichand, Chandra Sekhar Yeleti combo Sahasam has hit the big-screens on a grand scale today. Sahasam is an action adventure commercial film and the film has a treasure hunt backdrop with two time periods. Gopichand plays the role of security guard who later goes after his own treasures from India to Pakistan. Checkout the film review of Sahasam.

Gopichand romanced Tapsee in the movie and this is their second combo after Mogudu film. Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor is roped in for the negative lead role while Ali will be seen comic role.

Sahasam is produced by BVSN Prasad on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Pvt Ltd banner in association with Reliance entertainment. The film was shot lavishly Ladakh to recreate the Peshawar-Afghanistan border and it would have lots of graphics in lat half an hour. Selva is the action choreographer.

Story:

Goutham (Gopichand) is a security guard whose ambition is to become very rich in short-cut way. So he tries his luck with lottery tickets and even consults babas for some short-cut routes, but nothing works. At this juncture, Goutham finds a will written by his grandfather Varma (Suman), a wealthy man running diamond business in Peshawar, before the partition.

In Pakistan, Gautham bumps into Sultan (Shakti Kapoor), a warlord who is on a mission to find treasure concealed by Kanishka Dynasty. And there is a common connection between Gautham's mission and Sultan's mission.What is the common connection between them? How Gautham achieves his goal and gets his ancestors' treasure fighting all odds forms the crux of the story.

Performances:

Gopichand has given a superb performance and his body language is perfect match for the role of security guard. He definitely rocks you with his amazing action and dare-devil stunts. He is the showman in Sahasam, which will surely be a landmark film in his acting career.

Taapsee Pannu has got a good role, which offers her ample scope to show her acting skills. As a devout and naive woman, she has also given brilliant performance. Her chemistry with Gopichand will once again impress the movie buffs.

Shakti Kapoor, who is debuting in Tollywood, has delivered an authentic performance as terrorist Sultan. Ali tries his best to tickle your funny bones, but his comedy track is not very satisfying. Narayana Murthy,Suman is nice within the little character which is available in the expensive back, others have also done justice to their respective roles.

Technical Departments:

Chandrasekhar Yeleti has been successful in delivering a technically superior adventure flick. Because of the financial constraints, he's done a good job. He must have taken some worry about the entertainment quotient within the film. Sahasam has excellent production values and its majestically-captured visuals are the main highlights in the technical front. Shyam Dutt's picturisation has given a sophisticated feel to this much-hyped film.

His work provides the film a very sophisticated feel. Art direction is excellent. Sri’s background score is rather good which he's shipped nicely. Editing is neat. Sahasam has excellent production values and its majestically-captured visuals are the main highlights in the technical front. Shyam Dutt's picturisation has given a sophisticated feel to this much-hyped film.

Analysis:

Coming to the Sahasam movie analysis the film’s theme and story are very novel for Telugu cinema. Chandrasekhar Yeleti should be recommended to handle the work in an exceedingly competent way. The pictures are extremely grand and Ladakh continues to be taken quite majestically. Pakistani atmosphere continues to be recreated quite effectively and legitimately.

The treasure search, the intricate clues that cause it and also the effects are very thrilling. Fans of films like National Treasure, Tomb Raider and Indiana Johnson will love this movie. The film’s action sequences deserve special mention. They've been choreographed quite reasonably. The gun
fights and also the vehicle chases are great.

The interval and climax episodes happen to be created quite nicely. Our male lead Gopichand performs exceptionally well becoming Goutham. He is excellent within the action sequences and the body gestures are ideal for your role. Tapsee is very good within this film like a devout and slightly naive youthful lady. Ali entertains to some extent as Khayamat Raju. Shakti Kapoor is just brilliant because the evil terrorist Sultan. His transformation
and gratifaction are extremely authentic. Narayana Murthy is alright as Gopichand’s father. Suman includes a brief role and that he has been doing a great job.

Final Word: Overall Gopichand's Sahasam movie is Interesting and a different experience, which is a right blend of brilliant performances and rich production values. The movie will impress all classes of audiences except glamour and comedy lovers.Worth watching
