Performances:

Performances: Surya's Performance is really good. His action as a powerful police officer, his fiery looks, his dialogue delivery gave extra powerfulness to his character. Hansika's acting is better. The comedy done by santhanam is humorous enough. There is not much character for Anuska but still she did well. The new Hollywood villain was not up to the mark. His intro was scary. And rest did justice to their part well. Anjali was voluptuous in her special song. The others did their bit as required.

Technical Departments:

The director has come up with a regular storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were punch packed. The script was average but the screenplay was excellent. The background score was melodious and only one song was worth listening. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was sharp. Costumes were well designed while the art department was apt. Surya shouldered the entire film on his shoulders and created a strong impact.

Plus Points:

Surya delivered a brilliant performance
Powerful dialogues
Camera work
Music
Well choreographed action sequences
Screenplay
Vijaykumar Neat performance
Fights

Minus Points:

Routine Story line
Length of movie
Songs
Anushka's limited Character
Villians week Portray

Analysis:

Story begins exactly where the first part ends when Narasimham (Surya) is given a special duty by Home Minister (Vijay Kumar). This time, the Indian Police Officer is allocated the responsibility to wipe off Arms and Drugs Smuggling Mafia in and around Vizag and Kakinada ports. To begin the duty effectively, Narasimham is relieved as DSP and joins as a NCC Teacher in a private college to complete the ground work on how Thyagaraju (Raghu Rahman) and Bhai (Mukesh Rishi), two rival local Mafia groups supporting the Drugs business of International Drug Cartel Danny (Danny), a Nigerian.

On the personal side, Narasimham who prioritizes Police duty first has postponed the marriage with Kavya (Anushka) for a while. In mean time, Inter student Sathya (Hansika) falls in love for the heroism of NCC teacher Narasimham. She is none other than the daughter of Thyagaraju’s elder brother. Once Narasimham takes charge as DSP, he sweeps through the entire Drug Mafia but misses key player Danny who escapes from his prison due to political and higher officer pressures.

Disappointed Narasimham with special permission from Home Minister and Chief Minister (K Vishwanath) begins Operation D to deport Danny to India. Rest is how Narasimham closed the chapter of Danny, Thyagaraju and Bhai with the tragic end of Sathya?

Final Word: Overall Surya's Singam is completely an action entertainer worth to watch for a single time
