Whenever a high budget film featuring a star hero or a top production house releases, there will be an uncontrollable bombardment of the film's box-office collections by its producers. Even fans of the star heroes' join this collections madness by posting the area wise collections on social media.

Meanwhile, film lovers are confused with terms like share, nett and gross. Often, we also hear about 'fake' collections in these tall claims. Now, firebrand veteran actor Mohan Babu, who is known for his straightforwardness, termed these collections as pure 'gas'.

Speaking on the sidelines of his MB40 event in Vizag, Mohan Babu said that box-office numbers proudly claimed by the producers can never be trusted as there is a hell to heaven difference between these claims and the actual box-office collections.

Mohan Babu also lamented that producers have lost their significance in Tollywood these days and that they are paying the directors and heroes several times higher than they actually deserve and are incurring losses due to this over spending.
