The 15-year-old Fairfield Township girl reported missing Thursday is has been found, according to her mother, and with New Jersey State Police.

Claudia Guadalupe "Lupita" Burnley was last seen by her mother Kristine Burnley Wednesday around 10:30 p.m.

When Kristine Burnley woke up, however, Lupita was missing and she called the New Jersey State Police about her daughter's disappearance.

Her daughter was found Thursday evening, according to Kristine Burnley, and is with the New Jersey State Police.

According to authorities, Lupita ran away from her home and was found wandering around the Fairton-Gouldtown Road area at approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Lupita knocked on a residence, police said, and the resident recognized her from an nj.com article about her disappearance. The resident contacted authorities, who reunited the family.
