Rauner wins Illinois Governor race; Quinn not conceding

Illinois has elected a Republican governor. It’s the first time the GOP has held the Illinois office since 2003.

Republican businessman Bruce Rauner beat incumbent Democrat Pat Quinn 51 percent to 46 percent. Although Rauner has accepted the victory, Quinn is not conceding.

He says he doesn’t believe in ‘throwing in the towel.’
