NRI doctor arrested in Kashmir for suspected terror links

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday arrested an NRI doctor and three others from Budgam over suspected links with terrorists.

The police suspect that the arrested doctor activated some terror modules and even financed them. They have launched investigations into alleged Hawala funding and terrorist recruitments being conducted by the doctor.

Three others who were arrested were relatives of the doctor, who is a non-resident Indian. He was arrested while being dropped at airport by his relatives.

The NRI doctor hails from Chadoora village of Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir.
