Akbaruddin will be arrested: DGP
Hyderabad: The DGP Dinesh Reddy said that if necessary, police would arrest MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi who made hate speech at Nirmal in Adilabad district recently.
Talking to a news channel here, the DGP said the MIM MLA made controversial statements at two places and cases under sections 121 and 151 at Nirmal and Bodhan. He said summons were already issued to Owaisi.
Stating that police had information that Owaisi was undergoing treatment in London, the DGP said they were ready to take the help of Interpol if necessary to arrest him. He said steps would be taken to ensure that Owaisi would not be allowed to make public speeches hereafter. He said there was delay in taking action because of Urdu translation problem.
