Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao said that the final decision on the new capital of Andhra Pradesh would be taken by Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu.

“We will also discuss the issue in the cabinet meeting,” said the minister.

Uma said that the union government would take the decision on the formation of Krishna Tribunal Board.

“Steps will be taken to complete the works of SRBC, Handri-Neeva and Siddhapuram Lift Irrigation as early as possible. There is drinking water problem in Rayalaseema. We will take steps to solve the problem,” said the minister.
