Many farmers in Andhra Pradesh are against land pooling for the construction of new capital. Many of them who started protesting against the ruling TDP's unilateral decision are now demanding Power Star Pawan Kalyan to protest atleast after knowing their troubles and problems with regards to land pooling.

Bethapudi farmers from Guntur district say Pawan Kalyan during election time promised that he will stand by their side in their problems and lament that they are now suffering in the current Government's regime.

Farmers allege discrimination and injustice by Government and 30 of them erected flexis on the name of Janasena. They want Pawan Kalyan to immediately respond on their behalf on land pooling. Farmers question how mere 30000 compensation a year promised by the Government in return to their lands will help them in their future.
