Hyderabad: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched Mee Kosam portal to provide a platform for people to register their grievances, give suggestions and also post photographs and documents pertaining to the subjects that they submit through the new web portal here on Tuesday. He asked the officials to draft an action plan for E-Governance by June 2015
The portal, Mee Kosam, records people’s grievances with their Aadhaar number, and in turn people can track the progress of their complaints with the help of Aadhaar numbers. People can also classify their complaint. Once a submission was made using the new portal, it would relay an acknowledgement by way of SMS as well as e-mail.
The grievances submitted would be registered, tracked and forwarded to the departments concerned. What is more, if the grievance is not resolved in a time-frame, it automatically would be sent to the higher authorities for necessary action. The entire process would be tracked online or by calling up a toll-free number 1100 or 1800 425 4440.
A call centre has been set up to register or find out your grievance application. The new portal could be accessed at www.meekosam.ap.gov.in Information Technology Minister Dr Palle Raghnatha Reddy, state IT Advisor J Satyanarayana, Advisor (Communications) Dr Parakala Prabhakar, IT and communications secretary Sreedhar, principal secretary to CM Satish Chandra and other senior officials were present at the launching event.
