New Delhi: A message was today doing rounds on the social media that AAP's Bijwasan MLA Devendra Sehrawat has accused party's Delhi unit leader Durgesh Pathak of organising volunteers against him in his constituency, a charge refuted by the latter.
The message on social media by Sehrawat, addressed to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, read that Pathak tried to organise a meeting of volunteers who were against him in the Bijwasan Vidhan Sabha.
Pathak, however, refuted the charges saying no such meeting had been called by him.
Sehrawat could not be contacted as despite several SMSes and phone calls he did not respond to any communication.
Incidentally, when AAP MLAs were signing petition seeking action against Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, two weeks back, Sehrawat had declined to sign the petition saying it was against the principle of "natural justice" as the duo had already removed from party's Political Affairs Committee.
On the National Council meeting on Saturday, he had voted against the resolution to remove Bhushan and Yadav from NE giving the same reason.
In the meeting, the party also gave powers to the PAC to take disciplinary action against those giving statements to the media to malign its image.
