Chennai: For the fourth consecutive day on Friday, miscreants continued their attacks on Telugu interests in Tamil Nadu to express their anger against the Tuesday encounter in Seshachalam forests in which 20 wood cutters involved in red sanders tree felling were killed.

People attacked Andhra Bank ATM at Tiruvottithiyyur in Chennai city and destroyed the paraphernalia while some unidentified persons set afire to APSRTC bus in Pondicherry.

The attacks on AP interests are taking place despite strict police surveillance at key Andhra Pradesh interests across TN.

Heavy police force was deployed at Andhra cultural club at T. Nagar in Chennai fearing attacks on the premises.
