New Delhi: Ahead of Narendra Modi government completing one year in office, the Bharatiya Janata Party is making grand plans to celebrate first anniversary of the National Democratic Alliance at Centre.
PM Modi led NDA government on Friday issued two slogans 'Varsh Ek Kaam Anek' and 'Modi Sarkaar Kaam Lagataar' which will be used during the celebrations to commemorate the completion its first year in office.
Around 250 BJP rallies have been planned across India. The party has planned one rally in every two Lok Sabha constituencies.
Besides rallies, MPs and MLAs are likely to address 500 press conferences.
At the last parliamentary panel meeting before the first anniversary of the Central government, Modi asked all MPs to visit their constituencies from May 26 to 31 and communicate the work done by the Centre.
Modi took over as the Prime Minister of India on May 26, 2014 along with a small group of his Council of Ministers.
A series of meetings are being held to finalise Modi government's programmes to mark one year in power. The programmes are likely to be finalised after Modi's final approval.
Union Ministers Anant Kumar, Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley are fine tuning the Modi government's one year programme agenda.
According to the sources, e-books and booklets will be released on the completion of one year.
Three new schemes like PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM jeevan jyoti Bima Yojana, Atal pension yojana will be launched on May 9. These schemes will be under the Jan Dhan Yojana programme of the government.
