Jana Sena leader and actor Pawan Kalyan has been reportedly working on plans to launch a stir against forced land acquisition by the AP Government for the construction of capital city.
A leading daily said that the agitation he is going to launch would not annoy TDP leadership in any way. He doesn't want to rub Chief Minister Chandrababu on the wrong side.
The daily has reported that Pawan Kalyan may undertake a Deeksha at Rayapudi or Betapudi in Guntur district opposing the move by Government for land acquisition.
He may launch his Deeksha on May 23, according to reports. Though the office of Pawan Kalyan has denied reports on his Deeksha, sources have revealed that he has in fact discussed the issue with his close confidants on how to proceed on it without annoying the TDP Government.
All said and done, the Deeksha may be a symbolic one to keep his promise to the people during his visit to the capital region villages during March that he would oppose any move by the Government to take the lands by force from farmers and would undertake indefinite hunger strike, if necessary.
