Hyderabad: AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu will introduce the General Budget in the assembly on March 12 and the Agricultural budget the next day.

Yanamala Ramakrishnudu is working on the budget proposals in cooperation with various departments. The 2015-16 budget may contain financial proposals worth Rs. 1 lakh crores or more.

The budget session , commencing on March 7, will end on March 27 when the House will adopt the money utilization bill.

The budget will have allotments for capital city construction,  completion of Polavaram project and several other recently introduced welfare schemes and developmental programmes.

Before the budget proposals are finalised, Chandrababu will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to make sure of the allotments for AP.
