Hyderabad: AP Transport Minister Sidda Raghava Rao here on Monday said the government has sanctioned Rs 475 crore for the repair and expansion of 99 main roads across the state.
Raghava Rao also said the government will soon take up mapping of the roads in the state using GPS to find out the traffic flow pattern and future needs.
Addressing the news persons after a meeting on the proposed Road Grid, the minister said, "Better roads would contribute to higher gross state domestic product."
