Power, this is one issue which has been daunting the ruling party in Telangana with severe power crunch expecting this summer again. It is a known fact that both AP and TS have been engaged in battle for power and water.

And while Telangana State has up hand over Power, Andhra Pradesh holds the key to more power. With Krishnapatnam and Hinduja all set to begin power generation this month on a full fledged level, AP has refused any share for TS.

And hence AP is all set to become power surplus. At the same T-TDP leaders are hoping that their party chief Babu should make some high profile gesture to TS. There are reports that Naptha prices have come down and more power is set to be generated.

This would happen in Godavari districts of AP by next month at the gas based power stations. Hence, TDP leaders are hoping that Naidu makes a surprise announcement during his Warangal Yathra that all surplus power would be given to TS, which can boost their profile here.
