Chittoor Encounter Politics: War Between Andhra & Tamil Nadu Erupts


The Ministry of Home Affairs has sought a report on the Chittoor encounter from the Andhra Pradesh government, as per reports. The NHRC has also issued a notice to the Chief Secretary and Director General of AP Police seeking an explanation for the incident from them. Home Minister Rajnath Singh has also spoken to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu over the phone on the case. There are protests in Tamil Nadu where TN parties are crying foul over the killing of 20 red sanders smugglers calling it a massacre.
