AP State Congress supervisor Digvijay Singh participated in a special meeting at Vijayawada regarding the retrospection of Congress party and while speaking at the event, he said that Congress party was blamed by all even though other parties also gave support to state division. He considers it as injustice caused to Congress party and its high command.

"The state bifurication decision was taken by UPA government only after TDP, BJP and YSRCP parties submitted letters in support to the division of state. But finally, the Congress party was blamed while all the other parties are cool and normal. This is injustice to Congress party, high command and Sonia Gandhi. Though we divided the state, to do justice for AP, we have designed a bill providing the special status to the state. I demand special status for AP from centre." Digvijay Singh said.
