Srikakulam: Devotees thronged Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple at Arasavalli in Srikakulam district during the early hours on Tuesday. The devotees were thrilled to witness sun rays entering the main temple during the sun rise at around 6.20 am. They offered special prayers on the occasion.
District Collector Dr P Lakshmi Narasimham also had darshan of the presiding deity. Temple in-charge Executive Officer R Pushpanadham supervised arrangements to provide hassle-free darsan to devotees. Sun rays are expected to illuminate the Lord’s idol on Wednesday too, said the temple EO.
