New Delhi: Ambassadors of Germany and Israel Michael Steiner and Daniel Carmon on Wednesday met BJP chief Amit Shah and discussed matters of mutual interest and cooperation between India and their respective countries.
Sources said Steiner thanked India for its leadership role in relief and rescue operations in quake-hit Nepal.
The two sides also discussed avenues of skill development for small and medium enterprises.
The Prime Minister had recently visited Germany during his three-nation tour where he had met German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
During the meeting with the Israel Ambassador Carmon, the BJP President discussed avenues of cooperation in agriculture sector especially drip irrigation.
"We discussed Nepal crisis and also Indo-German collaboration in skill devlpment of SMEs," Shah said about his meeting with the German envoy.
Regarding the meeting with the Israel ambassador, Shah said he discussed the humanitarian crisis in Nepal and also expanding bilateral ties in agriculture sector with Israel.
On April 24, French Ambassador François Richier had met Shah and discussed future course of partnership between India and France after the visit of Prime Minister Modi there.
The same day, the UK High Commissioner James Bevan had met him during which the two sides had discussed how to further strengthen Indo-UK cooperation.
