YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohana Reddy on Monday called on the Governor ESL Narasimhan here along with the farmers of the AP Capital region and lodged a complaint saying that the revenue officers are trying to take away the farmers' lands forcibly for the construction of the Capital.

Jagan Mohan Reddy told the Governor that the Police are harassing the farmers who are unwilling to give away their lands.

"Unwilling farmers are being arrested and subjected to third degree measures in police stations to make them fall in line. The police are also forcing them to agree that they were responsible for the arson in the fields last week," Jagan Mohan Reddy complained to the Governor in a memorandum submitted to him.
