Bhadrachalam,Manuguru,Khammam district,K Chandrasekhar Rao arrived in Hanamkonda,CM arrived in Hanamkonda
Warangal: After spending a hectic day at Bhadrachalam and Manuguru in Khammam district, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao arrived in Hanamkonda on Saturday evening on a two-day tour of the district. The CM arrived here at about 5.50 pm and went right away to the residence of former Minister and senior TRS leader V Lakshmikantha Rao at Advocates Colony in Hanamkonda where he was putting the stay during his tour.
Lakshmikantha Rao and his wife Sarojana Devi had offered silk cloths to the CM marking Srirama Navami festival. akshmikantha Rao’s son and Husnabad MLA V Sathish Babu and his family members were present. Parliamentary Secretary D Vinay Bhasker, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, MP A Seetaram Naik, MLAs B Shanker Naik, Aruri Ramesh, DS Redya Naik, the party district leaders T Ravinder Rao, P Sudarshan Reddy and others called on the CM.
District Collector V Karuna and Superintendent of Police Ambar Kishor Jha have also met the CM. The CM also held a review meeting with Irrigation and Engineering officials.The police did not allow the media personnel into the residence of Lakshmikantha Rao as the CM Chandrashekar Rao was not interested to interact with the media. A large number of second rung leaders of the party were also not allowed go inside the house, however, they waited for long time hoping to get a chance to meet their leader but in vain.
According to the official schedule, the Chief Minister would depart from Hanamkonda at 10 am on Sunday by a helicopter for an aerial survey of Devadula lift irrigation project and proposed Kanthanapally project in Eturunagaram in the district. The CM would be accompanied by Minister for Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageshwara Rao and others. Later, he would proceed to Kaleswaram in Karimnagar before leaving for Hyderabad. A delegation of Telangana LPG Dealers Association comprising P V Rao, PV Madanmohan, MS Reddy, Vaman Rao, P Sridhar and others called on the CM and invited him to attend a convention of association and its inaugural ceremony to be held soon in Hyderabad.
