Congress was lost its glory after the general elections in 2014 in AP. There are very few biggies still existing in the party because of their relationship with Congress High Command. There are rumors that spread around political circles that Congress party would lose great Kotla family in Kurnool district. As per the buzz, Kotla family would likely to be joins in TDP.

Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy was humble congress leader and respectful towards Gandhi family since many decades. He served as CM twice to the state and Union Minister at the time of Indira, Rajiv and PV. His son Surya Prakash Reddy who won Kurnool Parliament Segment twice in 2004 and 2009 also served as Union Minister for Railways in Manmohan Singh. Raghavendra Reddy who is son of Surya Prakash Reddy met Nara Lokesh who recently visited Kurnool.

TDP put an offer to Kotla family to welcome Kotla family into TDP. As per buzz, MLC offer to Kotla Sujathamma and take her into the CBN’s cabinet. Assuring Raghavendra Reddy as MP candidate from Kurnool in 2019 general elections is another offer from TDP to Kotla Family. Kotla followers confirmed that meeting with Lokesh but not confirmed on joining into TDP. It’s now question is TDP senior leader KE Krishna Murthy agreed on joining of Kotla family into TDP. If Kotla family proved the rumors right that will be huge shock to Sonia Gandhi and Congress in the state as well.
