As per the Government Sources, the target of acquiring 30,000 acres of land in AP Capital area is going to be accomplised soon as most of farmers are in favour of it. The two hurdles that need to be crossed were...

i) Portion of Developed Land to be given back to Farmers.

ii) Compensation Farmers would be receiving per Annum.
 
AP Government got ready to offer 1,000 square yards of Developed Land per Acre for the area acquired through land pooling. However, Farmers and Land Owners demand 1,200 square yards of Developed Land. The Owners of Riverfront Land demand 1,400 square yards per acre.
 
AP Government is willing to pay Rs 25,000 per annum for one acre land. However, Farmers demand the amount to be raised upto 35,000 per annum. The Owners of Riverfront Land demand Rs 75,000 to Rs 1 lakh per annum.
 
Chandrababu Naidu is planning to invite all the farmers who were opposing Land Pooling for discussions soon. He will be giving a clear assurance to them on the benefits they gonna receive in return.
